Each person has a unique story and their therapeutic process will be equally unique. The relationship between therapist and client is a strong factor in productive and deep work. It is what transpires in this relationship that can transform our lives and bring about the awareness we need to accept our authentic selves. I seek to walk alongside my clients as they discover their desire to understand themselves and be present in this complex world.

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Biblical & Theological Studies from Covenant College in 2014, and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in 2022. Before pursuing my counseling degree, I volunteered as a group facilitator for an inner healing ministry for four years, which fueled my passion for the healing process from family-of-origin wounds and mental health in spirituality. During my Master’s practicum, I utilized my training at a local community health center providing outpatient therapy for medical patients. As a 2021 Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Fellow, I attended hours of additional trainings, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Sex Addiction, Suicide Prevention, and Effects of Racial Trauma on Mental Health. I have a variety of experience working with individual adults and couples with mood disorders, attachment and adjustment disorders, grief/loss, relationship issues, and career counseling.

I counsel from a trauma-informed orientation, primarily employing psychodynamics, emotion-focused, and cognitive behavioral modalities. My specialties include fostering assertive living skills in Life Transitions, increasing effective communication skills in Relationship Issues, and genuinely engaging challenges in Spirituality. My love for the process of therapy is undoubted, as it has changed my personal life for the better. My commitment is to equip you for the pursuit of wholeness and healing in every season of your life!
